Naira Grigoryan granted the Doctor of Science Degree
According to the resolution of the Scientific Council of IPPT PAN, Naira Grigoryan has been awarded the PhD degree in Engineering and Technical Sciences, in the discipline of Materials Engineering.
City of Warsaw Scholarship
Zofia Rudnicka, a doctoral student at IPPT PAN’s Neuroinformatics Group, received a City of Warsaw scholarship for her project on AI-driven sustainable public transport.
95th Birthday Jubilee
On 3 November, celebrations were held to mark the 95th birthday jubilee of Professor Zenon Mróz, an outstanding scientist, teacher, and mentor to many generations of researchers at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Science, Polish Academy of Sciences.
Ignacy Malecki Medal
We are pleased to announce that Professor Mirosław Meissner has been awarded the Ignacy Malecki Medal for outstanding achievements in acoustics by the Polish Acoustical Society.
Prime Minister’s Awards
Beata Niemczyk-Soczyńska, PhD, from the Laboratory of Polymers and Biomaterials, and Jędrzej Dobrzański, PhD, from the Department of Mechanics of Materials, were recognized for their outstanding doctoral dissertations.
