Scientists from the IPPT PAN have been ranked among the most influential 2% of researchers in the world, according to the adopted citation indexes of their publications.
The TOP 2% ranking is prepared by analysts from Stanford University, Elsevier and SciTech Strategies. It is developed on the basis of researchers’ academic achievements according to the bibliometric index. The evaluation criteria were the Hirsch index, number of citations (including self-citations), Impact Factor and the place and role on the list of authors.
The list includes experts from 22 disciplines divided into 174 more specific sub-disciplines.
TOP 2% Scientists 2022 consists of two separate lists. The first one (Table-1-Authors_Career) contains the scientific output of the whole career of the scientist. The second table (Table-1-Authors_singleyr_2022) concerns only the citations obtained in 2022.
