95th Birthday Jubilee
On 3 November, celebrations were held to mark the 95th birthday jubilee of Professor Zenon Mróz, an outstanding scientist, teacher, and mentor to many generations of researchers at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Science, Polish Academy of Sciences.
Ignacy Malecki Medal
We are pleased to announce that Professor Mirosław Meissner has been awarded the Ignacy Malecki Medal for outstanding achievements in acoustics by the Polish Acoustical Society.
Prime Minister’s Awards
Beata Niemczyk-Soczyńska, PhD, from the Laboratory of Polymers and Biomaterials, and Jędrzej Dobrzański, PhD, from the Department of Mechanics of Materials, were recognized for their outstanding doctoral dissertations.

Publication in Physical Review Letters
An international team of researchers, including Dr. habil. Alexander Streltsov from IPPT PAN, has published an article in Physical Review Letters titled “Second Law of Entanglement Manipulation with an Entanglement Battery.”
