Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Poland, appointed Paweł Paszek from IPPT PAN as a professor in the category of engineering and technical sciences in the field of biomedical engineering.

On the 18th of October 2024, the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, handed prof. Katarzyna Kowalczyk-Gajewska a nomination for full professorship.

Professor Michał Kleiber was honored with the prestigious PoloniaTech award at this year’s European Federation of Polish Scientific and Technological Societies Aboard (EFPSNT).

On 24 October 2024, according to the resolution of the Scientific Council of IPPT PAN, Agata Kaczmarczyk was awarded the degree of Doctor of Science in the field of Engineering and Technical Sciences.

We were pleased to welcome Dr. Rodolfo Venegas from the Universidad Austral de Chile to our Institute. Dr. Venegas is a distinguished scientist specializing in the propagation and absorption of sound waves in porous materials, as well as acoustic metamaterials.
